Hope you had a great Easter, Passover and Ramadan weekend! Today I was on Great Day Connecticut to talk about the latest spring skincare products you can find in your local drugstore for under $25!
Body Wash
Starting with the Olay Body Fearless Artist Series, a new collection of three new body washes that deeply hydrate to nourish, restore and balance the skin. With Olay Body’s commitment to elevate stories of women of color in art and science, the beautiful bottles were designed by African American artist Avery Williamson. Plus, a diverse team of women scientists developed the hydrating formulas. Available at Target, Walmart and Meijer for $7.99.
Dark Spot Treatment
For dark spots, I recommended Urban Skin RX Retinol Rapid Repair & Dark Spot Treatment. Helps fade the appearance of dark marks, hyperpigmentation as well as fine lines and wrinkles. Like with any retinol, use at night and be sure to wear SPF in the morning! Fun fact: Just won a Glamour Beauty Award: Best Drug-Store Skin Care Products for Best Dark Spot Treatment. Available in Walgreens and Amazon. $24.99.
Face Wash
And you guys – Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash is back in store. For months it’s been out of stock in most major retailers. After some research, I learned it’s back in the drugstore – at least in New York City and online. I had adult acne in my early twenties, and my dermatologist recommended Purpose. It’s a soap-free, oil-free facial cleanser that won’t leave your skin dry or irritated. Available now in Walmart and Amazon.
Makeup Remover
I’ve loved the Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Wipes since back when they were called Simple Skincare. The wipes are designed for sensitive skin, and they’re made with gentle cleansers and vitamin B5 and vitamin E. The facial wipes contain no artificial colors, no artificial fragrances, and no harsh chemicals that can irritate your skin.
