Layers are the secret to surviving fall in this ever changing weather in New York City. Just yesterday it was supposed to rain all day, but by mid-morning the sun was shining bright. Incorporating different colors to your look is also key. My favorite is purple or plum, but I also enjoy wearing neutrals like white, camel and gray against the fall foliage. I paired a cashmere off-white turtleneck with suede over-the-knee boots to a recent stroll around Central Park. This is such a simple and casual look, but the neutral colors of the outfit pop as they contrast trees and the changing leaves.
I love wearing laid back comfortable outfits. You already know I wear heels only when I have to but rocking classic neutrals with a low heel is OK with me.
