January was a whirlwind month filled with excitement, spontaneity, and unforgettable adventures. From jetting off to Florida for a sustainable press trip for my public relations client to soaking up the sun in La Romana, Dominican Republic, it was a month of exploration and relaxation. Join me as I recount the highlights of my journey, from unexpected swimsuit finds to dancing on catamarans against the backdrop of stunning Caribbean vistas.

The month kicked off with a flurry of activity as I embarked on a press trip to Florida for one of our esteemed PR clients. From meetings to media engagements, it was a whirlwind of networking and showcasing sustainability and dairy farming in the middle of nowhere.

Upon returning to New York City, I was burned out and the year has only begun.

With a craving for sunshine and sea breeze, I impulsively booked a last-minute trip to La Romana, Dominican Republic. The allure of pristine beaches and turquoise waters was irresistible, and I couldn’t wait to escape to this tropical paradise.

Packing in haste, I grabbed my trusty pink, one-piece bathing suit from Amazon, a new staple in my travel wardrobe. Arriving in La Romana, I wasted no time in immersing myself in the local delights. A highlight was a day trip to Isla Saona, renowned for its crystal-clear waters and breathtaking scenery. As I lounged on the powdery white sands and indulged in a delicious lunch of fresh seafood, I couldn’t help but marvel at the beauty surrounding me.

The adventure didn’t end there. Embarking on a catamaran cruise, I found myself dancing to the rhythm of the Caribbean beats, the salty breeze tousling my hair. As the boat glided over the azure waters, I caught glimpses of familiar landmarks, including Casa de Campo. It was a surreal moment, bridging past memories with present experiences.
