Can this be considered fashion breaking news? My Instagram family sure thinks so! Joyce Leslie is reopening downtown, and we can’t wait to step inside.
Upon first glance, it looks like the store took over the former Abercrombie/Hollister spot on Broadway and Houston.
When I was in high school Joyce Leslie was THE spot for fast-fashion shopping. It was affordable, and they had tons of cute clothes and accessories. It was my go-to for party outfits and “dress down day” in school. I went to an all-girl school and we wore uniforms. So we took those dress-down days quite serious.
At a time where storefronts are disappearing along NoHo and SoHo (way before the pandemic), it’s nice to see a GRAND OPENING sign.
I’ll stop by sometime soon to get a closer Iook and provide an update.
It looks like Joyce Leslie is owned by Rainbow Shops. I’ll try to search or reach out to them for a statement on their grand opening.
